ABOUT SOMMER

Sommer Leigh Rohman, MS, CCC-SLP

Sommer opened Salisbury Speech Therapy in 2015 following many years of practice in speech-language pathology across the country in various schools, in-home early intervention programs, and pediatric clinic settings. Through these combined experiences, she developed a love for co-treating and thinking “outside of the box” when it comes to making progress! Graduating with her dual Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Speech-Language Pathology and Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Towson University, Sommer is a nationally accredited, Maryland licensed speech-language pathologist with extensive knowledge of the speech-language mechanism. She holds several ACE awards for excellence in continuing education from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Sommer is known by the local special needs community for her work in PROMPT© therapy, building neural networks needed for speech programming and verbal language. In her free time, Sommer loves playing guitar, practicing yoga, crafting, and going on adventures with her family!
